Memory Cards / XQD Cards
The first XQD card was announced in 2012 as a successor to Compact Flash. The benefits of the card include faster read and write speeds, better corruption protection and higher storage limits. XQD cards are used by primarily by high end Nikon and Sony cameras.
‘Fast Speed’ cards are those that are suitable for faster styles of photography that require prolonged burst shooting, such as event, wedding, sports and wildlife. They are also suitable for high framerate 4K and high resolution 8K video.
