Audio / Wireless Microphones
Wireless microphones are designed to transmit audio signals wirelessly using a transmitter connected to the microphone. This is picked up by a wireless receiver, which can be plugged directly into a camera or audio recording device.
Wireless microphones are often used when the distance between the sound source and camera is too far to practically run cables, when there are physical barriers between the sound source and camera or when the microphone must be moved around, such as in multi-speaker presentations or run-and-gun interviews.
