A teleprompter is a device which is positioned in front of a camera lens and reflects text onto a transparent surface, allowing speakers to maintain eye contact with the camera while reading. Teleprompters are used in broadcasting, public speaking, and video production, reducing the need for memorisation, enabling speakers to focus on delivery and engagement.
